Baby Shower

We threw a baby shower for my sister. It felt like 100 degrees that afternoon. Kind of unusual for April. Chilled drinks, shade provided by our tree, and good company made it a lot better. Maya will have a new cousin soon. She can't wait. Maya's thoughts, below:

While the adults amused themselves with silly games, us kids discussed the the latest debate between Clinton and Obama. See cousin Jacob on the swing? He's in deep thought regarding the world's most pressing problems. I'm on top of the world! I had fun.
