This is the Fender Mayabear 2006 guitar. It comes with giggle effects when you play it. It's pretty cool.

Birthday Cupcapes

Happy Birthday, Lola!!

This is Kayla's and my lola (grandma). It was her birthday yesterday. We brought her yummy cupcapes from DOTS Cupcakes. I ate half of the cupcape with the pink topping. I was up at midnight crawling on all fours like a dung beetle on my parent's bed. My mommy swore not to give me those cupcapes again. Or at least try to remember to lop off that sugary concoction on top before she gives it to me.

School Fair

My school held a fair for fundraising. Boy, I had a blast! Ran my mom ragged because you know, I'm a two year old and I just like to run and bolt all kinds of directions when something catches my attention.
I had my face painted with a butterfly...
...as auntie, lola, and Kayla patiently looked on.

Tah-dah!!

Taking a break from running around with Kayla and daddy.

I participated in games and stuff which I won a couple of prizes for. But my favorite thing was this tall slide. You see me up there? I look like a mad woman, don't I? Hehehe... See that one daddy in a blue shirt? I think he was assessing the situation whether or not it was safe to send his kid up on this slide with me. Don't worry, I didn't push or bite his kid. I play nice.

Pony Tail

My daddy does a great Napoleon Dynamite side pony tail. It got rave reviews from my teachers this morning.

Rescue Mission

Some things are very important to toddlers. They'll hold on to some toy or thing for days. If the toy or thing goes missing, they get very distraught. Maya's favorite thing lately is "Eve", a character from WALL-E. She holds on to her when she sleeps and she also took her to the circus (see blog entry below). She even takes her when she goes potty. Well...this afternoon Eve took a nosedive into the the toilet along with the "others". It was so sad to see the little girl sob as she called out to Eve in the toilet. Here's when Super Daddy came to the rescue (really, a proof that daddies would do anything for their little girls). I won't go into details, but after Eve got washed with soap and sprayed with three disinfectants, she was handed back to the the happy little owner.
Here's Eve happy to be back with Maya instead of getting flushed into the abyss.

Eve and Maya watching Elmo.

Zing Zang Zoom!!!

The circus is in town! It was pretty neat. There were clowns, flying trapeze, people shooting out of canons, people getting sliced and diced, dancing dogs and tigers...awesome!
Cheese.
Performing elephants, my favorite.

You like my wizard hat? Watch me dance with it.

Independence Day

I love fireworks! I wasn't even scared. This is probably the coolest holiday. We had a barbeque and Kayla and I played and played and played. Then we lit the sparklers and fireworks started. I felt bad for Charlie. Poor doggie. He was shaking and was trying to hide himself anywhere he could.

Hope you had a good 4th!

My First Movie Experience

My mom took me to my first movie. We bought the tickets and I handed them to the concierge. My mom bought Red Vines because she thought I'd like them. I didn't, so she was mumbling something why she paid $4.25 for them. We sat in the theater and I was in awe of the big screen. My eyes were huge and took in all the previews. I actually sat through the whole movie except for one bathroom break. I liked the movie and would like to fly to South America in a house flown by a bunch of balloons one day.
