Did you say "ice fream"?

Mommy and I like to go to this frozen yogurt place on Fridays.

I think it's a pretty cool place. I get to serve my own ice fream and put toppings on it.

Mommy didn't let me have gummy bears or anything that resembled candy on my ice fream. She kept mumbling about me not being able to sleep or something. The closest I got to candy was frosted flakes.

I didn't mind. It was yummy anyway.

Even my friend Jenny wanted some.

Chuck E.

We celebrated my cousin Leanne's 5th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese.
I got to go on a bunch of mini rides. What fun!
Leanne and me.

Kayla: "Can I drive, please?
Maya: "Okay, just be careful."

Kayla: "I'm not liking this...get me out!!"
Maya: "Oh mah gah, Kayla, watch the road!!"

I really, really, really wanted to meet Chuck.

Then I did. Uh, not sure how to react so I put on my deer-in-headlights look.

But, boy that chocolate cake sure was tasty!
Happy Birthday, Leanne!

A dog's life

Sometimes I'm so tired I envy our dog. I just wanna cuddle next to him and nap on top of an old trampoline, let the breeze cool my tummy, let my flappy gums ooze over it, and drift away to dreamland chasing butterflies. Sigh...

Recovering

It seems like the three of us are taking turns getting sick every weekend. It's daddy's turn this time. Can't wait until this flu season is over.

Soup and Pinocchio.

Just standing around while waiting for daddy to wake up.

Decided to just cuddle with daddy because he doesn't wanna get up.

Cooking some nutritious meal for daddy to make him feel better.

Looks good, doesn't it?

Then she invited daddy to camp on the floor in her room so she can feed him brussel sprouts and donuts. Yumm-aay.

Photo Shoot

Kayla and Maya had a fun photo shoot.

Kayla listening what Maya's chatting about. "Like, seriously?"

Kiss the baby.

Striking a pose.

My session's done. Time for a snack.

It's Kayla's turn.

Cousins with matching Chucks.

It's okay, Kayla, we're almost done.

Last scene of the day, a tired and hungry toddler.

Almost Spring

Spring's around the corner. I could tell. Various flowers are starting to bloom in the backyard.

There's a big wall of these flowers outside of Maya's room. Its warm lilac-like fragrance always makes its way into her little boudoir. Hmmm... Just reminds me of a warm spring day.

These white flowers pop up like clock work around the same time every year. Never fails.

Something to spice up the greenery.

Even my earring tree is blooming!

In the warm afternoon, the kid and doggy were chilaxing outside and Maya pointed upward.

Several hunded feet above us was this hawk-like birdie suspended in the air. It's amazing how they do that. I think it was eyeing Charlie's toy hedgehog. Just my guess. It's his most favorite toy from his puppyhood (it get's pretty yucky). See how he's guarding it in the picture above? No way that birdie's gettin' it.
