Nana's Day

We celebrated my Nana's (Daddy's mommy) birthday.  After having a nice dinner, we decided to take a stroll and stop by a local coffee shop to warm us on this cool night.
 Yummy hot cocoa.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NANA!!

Office Visit

I'm off from school this week, so I was able to go with my mom to work.
We got to the office early.  I watched the sunrise sweep over Los Angeles as I ate my breakfast.
Of course, I made a mess on my mom's desk.  That's expected.
I also wrote on her white board.  Do you like the color combination?
After I make a mess and my mom cleans up, I usually look for nooks and crannies to hide in before we leave.  Here's a nice spot. I'm pretending there's an office monster looking for me.

Playing House

I'm off all week for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Along with a bunch of homework I have, I get to imagine all kinds of games.  Like my bookshelf as a multi-level house.
You see that compartment where my doll with red shoes is?  That's Christy and she's causing trouble in the garage.

Running in the rain

My mom is training for some races next year.  Every week she has to fulfill a certain mileage total.  So on Saturday she went for a run and it started raining in the middle of her run. She came home looking like a crazed cat that was soaked in the rain. She was still smiling though, so that was kinda creepy.  Her running is contagious, so the next day I told her I wanted to go with her on my bike.  Guess what, we dragged daddy along.  He wasn't kicking and screaming. He was also a willing participant.

Pink Bunny?

One weekend, my mom walked in my room and found this:
Me in my pink leotards and leggings and a bunny snout.
It's what I do to belong here in this group.

Build a drawing

Did I tell you I like to draw?  My mom and I play this game where we build on each other's drawing.  She started with the baby in the middle and I drew the mom and the other stuff from that.  I added the "awwww" on the lower right hand corner.

Sick Days

It's that time of year again...
...when I miss a day or two of school because of sniffles, coughs, and fever.
So I try to get some rest.  I draw, write, and play with my toys.
When I get sick, my parents take turns taking care of me.  The morning shifts are usually my daddy's.  He fun.
And when my mom takes the afternoon off from work to be with me, I play with her and braid her hair.  She has this face because she just realize how much cooties may be on her hair from me.
