Final Post of 2012

Well, here we are.  Another busy and memorable year. This is the final post for the year 2012.  These are some random pictures taken this year.  I wish my mom had more time to post and tell more stories (because I'm a hoot, remember?), but she has been extremely busy.  But that's okay.  So here are some pictures to share.
Mommy found me in this ensemble during the summer.  I love print, I guess.
 Riding my first real bike.
This is a random picture taken at Lolo and Lola's place.  That's Boo, their dog.  She likes daddy. And I like to hang on daddy.

We celebrated Lolo and Lola's 47th wedding anniversary at this restaurant called The Stinking Rose.  This picture was taken outside of the restaurant and me and Kayla going on a double piggy back ride. It's a restaurant specializing in garlic.  At first I was like "ewwww!"  Then the garlic bread and the cloves of garlic in olive oil and herbs came.  I was gobbling that up and the garlic like there's no tomorrow.  Then the garlicy pasta came and I ate that too.  Silly me.  So I found out I like garlic.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LOLO and LOLA!
We had our Winter Performance Celebration at school. These are the first graders.
We sang 4 holiday songs.  We were rockin'.
That's me in the polka dots dress.
Lolo and Lola were there to watch.
Celebrated my friend Ellie's (center) birthday at Jump N' Jammin.  Always a treat to go in this giant jungle gym.
I went ice skating for the first time.  It was awesome!
Pershing Square in my bohemian dress after skating.
Dinner at this Korean/Japanese hole-in-the-wall place.  Everything you see in the picture is the whole restaurant (plus 2 more tables behind us and that's it).  The food is yummylicious.
We celebrated our Christmas with our big family.  We're a fun bunch.
After a long night of partying, whoo boy, was I pooped.  There was no way I was going to pose for another picture. So this is all you're getting.
Christmas Day with the four of us.

Wishing you renewed hope this holiday season and may the new year bring you good health, peace of mind, and good cheer.

Happy 2013!

Goofy Girls

Did I tell you I love my little cousin?  We have a lot of fun together.

Birthday Adventure

Hey there.  I turned 6 years old.  To celebrate we had an adventure at the California Science Center.
There's a bunch of stuff to see. Here's the Polar exhibit.  That's real ice.
Who wants to grab some lunch?  Let's hop on the snow mobile!
Exploring different exhibits up and down and all around.
Hmmm...Here's a fish tank.  There seem to be a bunch of fish under there.  How do we see them?
A-ha!  Just go downstairs and there you go.  It's so peaceful.  Kayla and I spent our longest time here just watching the beautiful fish swim by.
Here's a cartoony sort of kitchen.  There were real rats and cockroaches under the kitchen counter as part of the exhibit.  Ew.
Oh boy, more buttons and levers to play with.
Kayla and I pretended to be newcasters.
What is mommy and Kayla looking at?
Yep, that's me and daddy rock climbing.  That's what they're looking at.

After our adventure, we had a late lunch.  Here's a photo op in front of a giant Christmas tree and presents.
Here's us.  Auntie was taking a picture and told mommy to squeeze in some more ("like you like them or something", she said) so now we looked squished.  Thanks Auntie.
Instead of cake, I requested cupcakes.  That way we get more varieties for everyone to enjoy. We got them from Dots Cupcakes.
We ended my fun day with a song and a sparkly and shiny number "6".

Endeavour

As part of the California Science Center adventure, we went to see the space shuttle Endeavor.  My trusty sidekick, my cousin Kayla, is by my side.
Here's us waiting in line.
Lolo and Lola were there too to share my special day.
Here we go.  We saw different parts and videos of the space shuttle.  We made our way through the exhibit  and to the house were the space shuttle lives.
Bam!  As you walk in the hanger, this is what you see.  It's overwhelming to see.  It's huge!  Many people just stop on their tracks awestruck.
Here's the space shuttle's butt.  It's big too. It's awesome!

Thanksgiving visit

We visited Great Grandma for Thanksgiving.  We had a very nice Thanksgiving lunch with Grandpa, Grandma Audrey, and Grand Aunt Vi.
Here's me and dad running off the lunch we just had.
The path to the back of the house. So serene.
 My beautiful Great Grandma.
With Great Grandma and Great Aunt Vi.
Early evening and it's time to go.  We had a wonderful time.
