Weekend Chatter

I almost drove my parents nuts this weekend. The all day rain on Saturday didn't help either. I'm chattier than ever that they actually had to tell me to stop talking a couple of times.  I didn't stop of course.  My mom asked if I wanted to watch Sesame Street in the morning hoping for an hour of reprieve.  I said heck no because I was busy playing pretend with my toys complete with a running commentary from each and every one of them.  My mom sat there defeated while I said "mommy" every other sentence and asked her to look at this and that.  She had this glazed look on her face and she stared outside in the rain.  I think she was ready to run off and escape.  But she didn't.
Anywho, I did help her weed our planters to make up for the torture.  She pulled out all the weeds and I was dumping them into the trashcan...until I got distracted.
I found a rollie pollie!  I used to run these guys over with my bike, but I like them now. I mean I liked them back then too, I just ran them over.  That's all.
After our weeding task, we went to Kids' Space Museum.  I got to hang out with bigger bugs.  I checked out their lunch.  Doesn't look very appetizing.
Checking for bug spare parts.
I love their tricycle course.  So fun.
My mom noticed I needed a break and tried to get me to sit down.  I said no way and did the limp noodle move.
And guess who we saw there too?  Kayla, Auntie, and Uncle!
We played on the rock climbing course and ran over boulders and such.  Then we went back on the tricycle track.  Here's Kayla walking with her bike.  She'll be able to ride it soon properly.  Her legs just need to grow a little longer.
As always, I had fun.  My parents are hoping for a quieter week.  We'll see about that.

Friday

It's been a hectic week (well, for my mom).  So after she picked me up from school, we decided to visit a tea house to get some drinks and hang out for a little bit.  I got a mango slushie with boba and she got some cloudy looking magic potion of a tea, with boba of course.  I think it's a perfect way to end a busy week. Have a great weekend everyone!

Pretend Party x 100

I like birthday parties so I try to have them every other day.  Frankly, I think my mom's sick of it, but she still tries to sing the birthday song with me and manages to look surprised everytime I open the same present over and over again.  For these parties, I like to wear a dress.  I make sure my purse has all the essentials I need like a piece of cardboard, a used Starbucks gift card, a tiny panda bear, and my funky green pen.  Then I accessorize my friends.  My pink hedgehog gets a keychain on her snout and my blue bear gets two pretend ponytails and a pearl bracelet.  Why don't you get dressed, c'mon over, and eat cake with us?

Cupcakes, anyone?

Happy Valentine's Day!
We started off early by baking batches cupcakes for family and neighbors.
Red velvet with chocolate heart frosting and a dusting of confectioner's sugar. Yum!

Funny Ad

This is my wall.
I put up a new picture.  Can you see it?
Here's a close up.  Isn't it funny?  I ripped it out of one of my mom's magazines.

Sickie

I guess after having a runny nose for a couple of weeks, cough, and weird weather, fever thought it was missing out on some fun so it paid me a visit.
I stayed home from school today with a fever going from 99 - 102 degrees.  The doctor said to just monitor me for a couple of days and if it gets worse, to bring me in.  He suspects that it's just a viral thing that I need to shoo away.
So in an attempt to shoo away whatever I have, I'm resting a lot and am eating healthy snacks like edamame and some green smoothie my mom gave me.  I hope you're keeping yourselves healthy, too.

Celebration II

We got to celebrate daddy's birthday again.  This time with Great Grandma.  It's her birthday too.
Lunch at The Prado.
Here's my Uncle Paul and Uncle Jake with daddy.
I kept myself busy before the food came by drawing.  Those are three little pigs in mud.  At least, that's what I told my mom.  They're really aliens taking over the world.
I also finished the crunchy sesame/poppy seed bread thingies they had on the table.
Here's us with Grandma Audrey.
Great Grandma with her flan cake.  Daddy had the exact same thing, but Great Grandma's looks tastier.
After lunch, we all saw "Under the Sea" in IMAX at the Fleet Science Center. Verry cool.  Here's me snacking after the show.  I had a great time all weekend long with my family in San Diego and of course, I'm looking forward to next time.

Have a great week, everyone!

Celebration

It's my daddy's birthday today.  He's old.
Mommy baked a chocolate cake for him.
After dinner, Kayla and I tried to help him blow the candles.
My auntie told my mom to get in the picture and this is the result.  She looks scary and weird.
I did this art work for daddy.  I think he likes it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!  I LOVE YOU!
