Shuttle Endeavour

Today is a special day.  The space shuttle Endeavour finally landed in Los Angeles to retire. It flew by my mom's office building.  It arrived on a piggyback ride on a modified 747 jet.  How cool is that! Lots of pictures were taken by many people all over the city.  It will reside in one of my favorite places to visit, the California Science Center.  So it's a happy day.  But it's also a sad day, as its arrival marks the end of the three-decade career of the NASA's space shuttle program.  I do hope another space shuttle program will start in my lifetime.

It's also a special day because it's the 11th wedding
anniversary of two of the funniest people I know.
